The room thermostat serves multiple purposes. Firstly, the desired room temperature can be set on this device. When the desired temperature has been set, the regulating function of the thermostat is activated. It calculates the current temperature and then tells the hot air heaters what to do. If the temperature has to be raised, they will burn more. When the temperature has reached the desired level, the thermostat tells the hot air heaters to switch off. If the temperature drops below the desired level again, the room thermostat will make sure that the heaters are switched on again. Using the room thermostat you ensure that the temperature in your horticultural environment is always optimal.
