A paperpot is a plug for plant material. Paperpots consist of cutting soil, enclosed within a thin layer of paper, through which roots can penetrate. These properties make paperpots suitable for growing (among others) potted plants. The paperpot machine enables you to make your own paperpots by combining soil and adhesive fleece. The cutting soil is transferred though a funnel which is equipped with a driven agitator. The agitator enables a stady flow of soil to the venturi. The adhesive fleece is unrolled off of a roll to be folded around a tube. On the upperside the borders are glued together by a heating element. In this way, a ‘endless sausage’ is formed with the right diameter. While all of this is happening, soil is added by utilizing pressed air though a venturi. The ‘endless sausage’ (now filled with soil) is then cut on size by a rotating knife. The paperpot machine is an indispensable tool in the automation of cuttings and nurseries.
Our used paperpot machines are fully technically inspected and delivered under warranty.
