Fog installations are used to spread crop protection agents or disinfectants through greenhouses. By pressing these agents out of the installation at high pressure, a thick mist (comparable to fog) is created, which then is spread through the greenhouse. These systems are suitable for disinfecting large greenhouse surfaces; some systems can spray up to 100 metres. The fog installation is an essential weapon in large-scale crop protection and disinfection within horticultural environments.
