Cooling chambers (on size)

A cooling chamber (cold store) is a closed space which is cooled to a temperature just above freezing point. The purpose of this, is to reduce the growth of microorganisms. The cooling can be achieved in different ways, but most cooling systems work by making use of electricity or gas. In many greenhouses and other horticultural environments, the produced goods have a longer shelf life at low temperatures.
